Ternopil territorial community
The Ternopil community is one of the largest in the region with a population of over 250,000. It includes the city of Ternopil and 10 villages, which together form a single administrative and socio-economic space.
Economy and infrastructure
The community is an important industrial center, where:
110 industrial enterprises, including relocated ones;
almost 28,000 businesses;
developed transport network.
Social infrastructure includes schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and over 200 sports facilities, ensuring the sustainability and comfort of residents.
Energy consumption and strategic importance
The community's annual electricity consumption is 415 GWh, of which 80 GWh is for critical infrastructure. This determines the need for a stable and independent energy supply, which is provided by the Ternopil Energy Park project.
The role of the community
The Ternopil community is an active participant in the energy modernization process. Its scale, industrial activity, and the needs of critical facilities determine the strategic importance of implementing new energy solutions:
increasing energy independence;
reducing vulnerability to disruptions in central networks;
ensuring the security of critical infrastructure;
supporting the economic activity of businesses and industry.
